TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Buyer has paid a NON-REFUNABLE deposit of $______________, with payment of the balance of $____________ due upon release of the dog/puppy to Buyer. The expected delivery/pick-up date is___________________, or such other date as the parties mutually agree. Payment of the balance may be made by cash, PayPal (PayPal users, please add a 3% processing fee), Money Order, or WalMart Money Gram.
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Buyer will forfeit the deposit and any rights to the dog/puppy if Buyer fails to complete the purchase of the dog for any reason by the date agreed upon by both parties. Cornerstone Bulldogges reserves the right to return any deposit and refuse sale should there be a concern about the Buyer fulfilling their contractual obligations.
In the event that the dog/puppy is not available due to sickness, death, or any other circumstance owing to the fault of Cornerstone Bulldogges, Buyer’s deposit will, at Buyer’s option, be transferred to the next available litter of puppies.
A boarding fee of $_____ per day will be charged for each day the dog/puppy is boarded by Cornerstone Bulldogges past the agreed pick-up/delivery date.
If 14 days pass after the agreed pick-up/delivery date and no attempt to pick up has been made, Cornerstone Bulldogges holds the right to consider the dog/puppy and any money forfeited.
Transfer of Ownership and Registration
Cornerstone Bulldogges agrees to provide applicable registration papers for the dog/puppy on pick up. Dogs/puppies are registerable with the National Bulldogge Association and the appropriate paperwork will be available. Pedigree information is available from Cornerstone Bulldogges should the Buyer have questions at any time.
The Buyer agrees to register the dog with “Cornerstone’s” as the prefix of the dog/puppy’s registered name. (ie: Cornerstone’s Fido)
Cornerstone Bulldogges’s Representations
Cornerstone Bulldogges guarantees that on the pick-up/delivery date the dog/puppy is in good health, has had all age appropriate shots/de-wormings and has had its tail docked. Puppies will be vet checked before pick up and will have a Health Certificate as required by the state of Florida. While in the care of Cornerstone Bulldogges, the dog/puppy has been fed a high quality all stages kibble and it is recommended that this food (or a comparable grade food) is continued throughout the dog/puppy’s life.
This dog/puppy is sold with the intention of a companion animal only. Cornerstone Bulldogges makes no guarantee on the breeding/show quality of this dog/puppy. Cornerstone Bulldogges does not make any representation of the puppy’s final height/weight/size. Cornerstone Bulldogges will happily aide in the evaluation of the breeding quality of this animal once he/she reaches the proper age.
Cornerstone Bulldogges does not guarantee against common intestinal parasites such as coccidia or giardia that can infect a puppy/dog due to the stress of travel and/or new environments. These ailments are common and are easily treated with antibiotics. Cornerstone Bulldogges cannot guarantee against Parvo Virus once the dog/puppy has left Cornerstone Bulldogges’ procession. All possible, age-appropriate vaccinations against Parvo Virus will be provided to the dog/puppy before the date of pick up.
Cornerstone Bulldogges offers a $100 gift to any puppy owner that earns their companion's Canine Good Citizen Title by the time the dog is 24 months old. Cornerstone believes that training not only encourages good behavior, but also strengthens the bond between dog and handler. We are proud to offer this incentive as encouragement in the lifelong training of your companion.
Cornerstone Bulldogges offers a 10% discount to Active, Retired or Former Military Service Members. We are grateful to our Servicemen and women and are proud to offer this token of our gratitude.
Health Guarantee
Cornerstone Bulldogges guarantees against all major genetic defects that may cause death/impair the puppy’s quality of life until 1 year of age. The Buyer must take the puppy to the licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours of the pick-up of their puppy. If during this initial exam, any defect is found that might inhibit the animal’s quality of life, the Buyer has the option of returning the puppy to Cornerstone Bulldogges at the Buyer’s expense. In the event of the return of a puppy under these circumstances, prior to one year of age, Cornerstone Bulldogges agrees to replace the puppy with a puppy of the same gender/quality as soon as one becomes available, provided all the terms below are fulfilled. There will be no cash refunds under any circumstances.
In order for the health guarantee to be valid, the Buyer Agrees to:
___ 1. Feed the dog/puppy a high quality kibble. (Cornerstone Bulldogges recommends Victor All Stages or a comparable kibble. For more information on kibble check out www.dogfoodadvisor.com)
___ 2. Provide adequate food/water/shelter/care for dog/puppy throughout the lifetime of the dog/puppy
___ 3. Never leave dog/puppy chained/tied outdoors
___ 4. Maintain regular vet visits/shots, boosters and preventive care throughout the dog/puppy’s lifetime. Cornerstone Bulldogges reserves the right to request vet records/speak to veterinarians to determine if the proper vet care has been provided.
___ 5. The dog/puppy must not have been altered or bred or involved in any sort of dog fighting/protection training/bite work training for this guarantee to be valid
__6. If the puppy is altered before the age of 18 months, this health guarantee is void, as early spay/neuter is linked to joint/bone/development/health issues.
__7. The use of flea/tick/heartworm preventions that are not recommended as outlined in your puppy handbook will void the health guarantee. This includes: Trifexis, Comfortis, Bravecto, Nextguard, Simparica, and Credelio as these medications have been proven to cause seizures and neurological issues in dogs.
Buyer Responsibility
1. In addition to meeting the terms of the health guarantee, the Buyer agrees pay all costs of travel/shipping of their dog/puppy. At no point is Cornerstone Bulldogges responsible for veterinary expenses for the dog/puppy once it has been handed over to the Buyer.
2. The Buyer agrees never to involve their dog/puppy in any sort of dog fighting or any other form of abuse or neglect.
3. If at any point the Buyer is no longer able to care for their dog/puppy or Cornerstone Bulldogges finds that the dog/puppy is living in a situation that is dangerous/abusive, the Buyer agrees to return the dog/puppy to Cornerstone Bulldogges. There will be no refunds under any circumstances.
4. The buyer agrees to never relinquish this dog/puppy to any animal shelter, human society, or rescue organization and will instead return the dog/puppy to Cornerstone Bulldogges. There will be no refunds under any circumstances.
5. Provide periodic, updated pictures of the puppy for at least 24 months so that Cornerstone Bulldogges may continue to evaluate the dogs coming from their program.
6. Cornerstone Bulldogges strongly recommends the use of NuVet Plus Supplements, especially in the first year of life. While in the care of Cornerstone Bulldogges, your dog/puppy received NuVet Plus daily. NuVet Plus is the only human-grade supplement for dogs that is available.
